Translation and Interpretation from Russian and Uzbek to English
I’m Kristen Fort
I am a freelance translator, interpreter, and consultant based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
I’ve been professionally translating from Russian to English since 2009 and from Uzbek since 2013. I specialize in literary, academic, and legal translation, but I’ve translated medical and business documents as well.
I also offer interpreting services. I have interpreted for USCIS asylum interviews, attorney meetings, and documentary film crews.
As a regional expert with a PhD, I can provide consultations on Russian, Turkic, or Persian cultural projects. While my main languages are Russian and Uzbek, I have reading knowledge of Tajik, Kazakh, and Azeri.
